Catholic Mass Readings and Reflection November 10, 2026

Here are the Catholic Mass readings and a daily Gospel reflection for Tuesday, November 10, 2026, the Memorial of Saint Leo the Great. Paul tells Titus that the grace of God has appeared, and Jesus speaks of servants who simply do their duty.

First Reading: Titus 2:1-8, 11-14

Psalm 37:3-4, 18 and 23, 27 and 29 (R. 39a)

R/. From the Lord comes the salvation of the just

Gospel Acclamation

V/. Alleluia

R/. Alleluia

V/. If anyone loves me, he will keep my word, says the Lord; and my Father will love him, and we will come to him

R/. Alleluia

Gospel: Luke 17:7-10

At that time: Jesus said, “Will any one of you who has a servant ploughing or keeping sheep say to him when he has come in from the field, ‘Come at once and recline at table’? Will he not rather say to him, ‘Prepare supper for me, and dress properly, and serve me while I eat and drink, and afterwards you will eat and drink’? Does he thank the servant because he did what was commanded? So you also, when you have done all that you were commanded, say, ‘We are unworthy servants; we have only done what was our duty.’”

Tuesday – 32nd Week in Ordinary Time

1. One thing that is constantly notable in the life of Jesus and also his apostles is the series of failures along with the successes. Crowds sought and thronged Jesus. The number of faithful increased rapidly during the apostles’ mission. However, they were always opposed, obstructed, and persecuted. But they were undeterred in their mission.

Prayer

Lord Jesus, You came not to be served but to serve, and You washed Your servants’ feet. Forgive us for the accounts we keep, and for the hurt we feel when our work goes unnoticed. Free us from serving to be seen. Let the grace that has appeared in You make us generous and steady, faithful in the long, ordinary hours. Remind us, as Saint Leo did, of our dignity as Your children, so that we can serve with joy and without counting. Amen.

Question to Reflect Today

  • Where are you quietly keeping score, waiting to be thanked for what you do?

Is there someone whose quiet service you have never thanked? Share their first name in the comments, and we will pray for them. Fr. Sam remembers all intentions shared here at his weekly Mass.
